Tiffany & Co. Holiday Ads & Sparklers

Firstly, I need to own one of the new Tiffany & Co. sparklers. They have to be the most divine cocktail rings on the planet. I’ll take the yellow citrine set in gold, please!

That got me to thinking about the wonderful holiday advertising campaign that Carter Smith did for Tiffany last Christmas. Remember these babies? (don’t they a) melt your heart, and b) bring on that warm christmastime feeling?)

Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany’s. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there. If I could find a real-life place that’d make me feel like Tiffany’s, then – then I’d buy some furniture and give the cat a name!

  1. Can one acquire poster art from Tiffany & Co. to be used internally as a decorative poster? I am quite taken with the image of a well-dressed man on the stairs of a townhouse with a blue box behind his box. The implied romance and clarity of intent seems to be exemplary. I spied a large version of this originally at Grand Central Station in New York.
